Juniper Blue Star on Standard #3
Trained to grow in a small tree-form with the plant grafted atop a standard. The single stem form is compact and mounded with silvery-blue needles in a star-shape. The foliage changes to a purplish heather-blue in the winter. Prefers full sun but will tolerate some shade. Prefers slightly acidic, sandy, well-drained soil. Grows best in a cooler, low humid site. Used as an accent plant in a rock or entry garden. Low maintenance and deer resistant.
